Ever since she was a writer at Informix Software in the 1980s, Catherine has been imagining how technology could be used to deliver targeted information to end users. Catherine received her BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and holds advanced degrees in management and communication from the schools of Parenting and Silicon Valley. She has lead information-development teams at MapR, NetApp, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, and Informix Software. She deeply appreciates all of the writing and management teams on whom she has tried new techniques and from whom she has learned more than she could ever have taught to them.
